Photo album from the Royal Air Force Museum London (aka RAF Museum) with photos of a variety of aircraft. In hangar 1 you are introduced to Blue Steel with a 1.1 Mt nuclear warhead. In hangar 2 (Grahame-White factory) there are several treasures from the Great War. In hangar 3 og 4 (historic hangars) there are aircraft from the WW2 and the Cold War. In hangar 5 (the bomber hall) stands heavy bombers from the “Battle of Britain”. Avro Lancaster sank the German battleship Tirpitz on November 12, 1944, outside Tromsø. In the same hangar is the Avro Vulcan from the cold war, that could carrie Blue Steel or 21 × 454 kg conventional bombs. In hangar 6 (age of uncertainty), the focus is on the RAF from 1980 to the 21st century. On display is the famous AV-8B Harrier II Jump Jet as well as Eurofighter Typhoon.
